A Komodo boat charter starts from about HK$2,600 per person on a shared trip and rises to roughly HK$140,000+ per night for a VVIP superyacht. Komodo Package HK is operated directly by Komodo Luxury — running its own fleet in Komodo National Park since 2015, a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice winner four years running (2022–2025), rated 4.9★ across 250+ reviews, with 1,200+ private charters completed. Hong Kong guests deal with us directly over WhatsApp and receive an all-inclusive quote in HKD, with no OTA commission built in.
A boat charter means the entire vessel — captain, crew and private chef included — is yours alone. The route, meal times and how long you linger at each anchorage are arranged around you, not a fixed group schedule. In Komodo waters the fleet ranges from fast day-trip speedboats, through traditional hand-built Phinisi sailing ships, up to superyachts with balcony suites and a jacuzzi deck. This page sets out 2026 reference rates for every class, the 13 classic stops you can combine, the four factors that drive pricing, what an all-inclusive rate covers, and how booking works — so you can compare properly before committing.
Why charter through Komodo Package HK?
- An owned, operator-run fleet. The boats are owned, designed, crewed and operated by Komodo Luxury itself — we are not a broker reselling someone else’s vessel. Quality, safety and service sit with one accountable team, and there is no middleman fee in your price.
- Local knowledge since 2015. More than a decade in eastern Indonesian waters means routes are built from real sea conditions and seasons — when the manta aggregations peak, which anchorages shelter you from swell — not from a template.
- An award-backed record. TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025; 4.9★ from 250+ reviews; more than 5,000 guests sailed.
- A Hong Kong desk with HKD pricing. Chinese and English support on WhatsApp, all-inclusive quotes in Hong Kong dollars, 2026 national-park quota locking handled for you, and airport transfers in Labuan Bajo included. Part of Juara Holding Group (Hong Kong).

13 classic stops your charter can combine
The real advantage of a private charter is route freedom. These are the thirteen anchorages and islands most guests choose between:
- Padar Island — the tri-coloured bay viewpoint; the classic sunrise hike
- Pink Beach — one of the world’s few pink coral-sand beaches
- Manta Point — a manta ray cleaning station you can snorkel over
- Batu Bolong — a pinnacle reef with exceptional coral cover
- Castle Rock — advanced dive site; barracuda tornadoes and reef sharks
- Crystal Rock — Castle Rock’s equally famous northern neighbour
- Taka Makassar — a crescent sandbar that seems to float mid-ocean at low tide
- Kelor Island — a short summit walk over an emerald strait
- Kalong Island — tens of thousands of flying foxes leaving their roost at dusk
- Rangko Cave — a saltwater blue pool inside a limestone cavern
- Komodo Island — ranger-guided walks among the Komodo dragons
- Rinca Island — the quieter second home of the dragons
- Kanawa Island — a coral garden near port, ideal for a relaxed final-day snorkel
Four factors that set your charter price
- Vessel class. Speedboats price per day; Phinisi and yachts price per night. Cabin count, hull length and extras such as a jacuzzi or water toys move the rate most.
- Duration and route. 3D2N is the standard itinerary; remote northern sites such as Castle Rock and Crystal Rock add fuel and sailing hours.
- Season. July–September and the Christmas/New Year window are peak, with the tightest availability; April–June and October–November offer calm seas at softer rates. See our month-by-month season guide for Hong Kong travellers.
- Group size and cabins. Charters price per vessel, so a full boat gives the lowest cost per person — eight guests sharing a four-cabin Phinisi often beat the combined cost of a resort stay plus daily boat tours.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Komodo boat charter cost?
Shared trips start around HK$2,600 per person; speedboat day charters from about HK$5,600 per boat; Deluxe Phinisi roughly HK$22,000–55,000 per night; VIP Phinisi about HK$43,000–94,000 per night; VVIP superyachts from around HK$140,000 per night. Our own 3D2N private Phinisi charter is HK$38,800 all-inclusive.
What is the difference between a charter and an open trip?
A charter gives your group the entire vessel with a route built around you; an open trip shares the boat with other guests on a fixed itinerary. From about six travellers, the per-person cost of a charter approaches open-trip pricing while the privacy and flexibility are in a different league.
How do I get there from Hong Kong?
Fly direct from Hong Kong to Bali (about 5 hours), then take a domestic connection of roughly 1.5 hours to Labuan Bajo (LBJ). We include airport-to-pier transfers, with WhatsApp support in Chinese and English throughout.
How does the 2026 park quota affect charters?
Komodo National Park now limits entry to 1,000 visitors per day, with no on-site ticketing — entry must be pre-registered through the SiORA system or a licensed operator. When you charter with us, we lock your quota slots using your passport details as part of the booking.
When is the best time to charter?
The sailing season runs April to November. For the best chance of swimming with manta rays, aim for March–June. July–September is peak season — reserve two to three months ahead. Sailings run year-round, though December–February can need route flexibility.
Can non-swimmers and non-divers join?
Yes. Most snorkel stops are shallow 1–3 m coral gardens with life jackets and crew in the water; Padar’s viewpoint, Pink Beach and the dragon walks are all on land. Diving is optional and never holds up the rest of the group.
